Bluejacket, OK (April 3, 2019) – Bluejacket Public Schools was honored on Wednesday for their efforts to improve health through the Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust (TSET) Healthy Incentive Program for Schools.

To receive the $12,000 incentive grant, Bluejacket Public Schools put a variety of policies and strategies in place to promote health and wellness for students and staff. The district will be using the grant funds for updates to their walking track and new basketball equipment.

Waurika, OK (March 29, 2019) – Waurika Public Schools was honored on Friday for their efforts to improve health through the Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust (TSET) Healthy Incentive Program for Schools.

To receive the $15,000 incentive grant, Waurika Public Schools put a variety of policies and strategies in place to promote health and wellness for students and staff. The district will be using the grant funds for playground equipment and improvement.

Comanche, OK (March 29, 2019) – Comanche Public Schools was honored on Friday for their efforts to improve health through the Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust (TSET) Healthy Incentive Program for Schools.

OKLAHOMA CITY (March 29, 2019) The Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust (TSET) Board of Directors today announced the appointment of Julie Bisbee, former Director of Public Information and Outreach, as the agency’s new executive director.

The board unanimously voted to extend the position to Bisbee at the regular board meeting on Thursday after a comprehensive selection process that began in January after the previous executive director John Woods resigned to take a post with the University of Oklahoma. Bisbee was named Interim Executive Director upon Woods’ departure.

OKLAHOMA CITY (March 28, 2019) - The TSET Board of Directors has selected a top candidate for the Executive Director position today after interviewing the leading three contenders for the job during executive session at their regular board meeting.

The candidate has been notified of the selection and the board is awaiting a reply and expects to make an announcement tomorrow. 67 quality candidates applied for the post after a request for applications went out in late January.
