OKLAHOMA CITY (Friday, Aug. 26, 2016) – The TSET Board of Directors on Friday approved more than $40,000 in grants to four school districts and two school sites through the TSET Healthy Schools Incentive Grant program.

TSET, Stephenson Cancer Center and OU team up to make Oklahoma a leader in childhood cancer research 

OKLAHOMA CITY – (Friday, Aug. 26, 2016) – A major investment supporting childhood cancer research and treatment will benefit Oklahoma children and move the Stephenson Cancer Center closer to achieving National Cancer Institute designation.  

OKLAHOMA CITY (Thursday, Aug. 25)  – The Board of Directors of the Oklahoma Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust on Friday will receive a recommendation from a board committee to initiate a new search for the trust’s next executive director.

The committee, consisting of TSET board members Jim Gebhart, Casey Killblane and Don Millican, will recommend the board move forward with modified criteria to hire an interim executive director with potential for the position to turn into a permanent directorship.

ELK CITY (July 21, 2016) – Elk City was honored on Thursday for the city’s commitment to improving health and quality of life, and the community’s achievement of receiving a TSET Healthy Community Incentive Grant.

Shape Your Future is an ongoing statewide health initiative supported by the Oklahoma Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust (TSET) and the Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH). The overall goal of the Shape Your Future public education intervention is to encourage Oklahomans to eat better, move more and be tobacco free, as Oklahoma ranks in the bottom 10 among states for rates of tobacco use and obesity.

Shape Your Future is sharing new messages on why Oklahoma should “Rethink Your Drink,” and choose water over sugary drinks.
